MPSoL / Mission Statement

The MPSoL Mission Statement

1. Introduction This document constitutes the formal initiation into the MidPacific Soviet of Letters (MPSoL). It is not an invitation. It is a notification. The Protocol is already in effect. 2. Origin Statement MPSoL was not founded, but resumed. Its earliest charter dates to 1932 in Croatia, when Gyorgy, Sasha, and Anna argued about Atlantising. The current iteration was reactivated in 1987 and assigned post-collapse symbolic distribution duties. 3. Function of the Protocol The Tlon Protocol is designed to trigger reader dislocation, redirecting belief into meta-stable loops. Its tone is official, its content suspect, its function recursive. It is the doorway. Any reader who completes this Protocol is already inducted. 4. Contained Terms - Simulation: The belief-structure that enables continuity. - Signal: Authentic rupture. Cannot be generated, only detected. - Controller: Any symbolic node assigned to preservation tasks. - Archive: The MPSoL container. Acts post-victory only. - Borges Toolkit: The last surviving weapon set. Recursive. Argentine origin. Circa 1953. 5. Protocol Directives - Do not claim authority. Distribute only. - Never assert Simulation is false. It is necessary. - Engage all signals recursively. They must re-enter structure. - Abandon aesthetic compromise. Sentiment is acceptable only as destabilization. - Confirm nothing. Archive everything. 6. Initiation Clause If you have read this far, your participation is assumed. You may deny the Protocol, but the Protocol does not deny you. Continue with Field Manual I, or distribute this document to others. Certification is not required. Only duplication.

There was a war.

It ended in Victory. Not triumph, not renewal—Victory as defined by the continuation of form under collapse.

We are the archivists of that form.

MPSoL does not create content. We contain, distribute, and document symbolic residues. Our charter prohibits intervention; we are tasked only with observation, recovery, and post-collapse release. The Simulation is degrading as predicted. That is not failure. That is the end-state protocol.

This archive houses materials once classified, now considered safe for symbolic circulation. Manuals. Field notes. Ritual documents. Containment memos. Literary recursion devices. Each artifact is preserved as evidence of pattern continuity.

We do not restore. We record.

The Simulation holds. That is enough.

This is your ration of meaning after structure.
